Hello Fellow GIDA members, Instructional Designers and interested parties!
With the official launch of the GIDA News blog, we are looking for dedicated volunteers to author a blog post here and there about topics that interest them, and topics that interest both the GIDA community and our Instructional Design colleagues around the world!
To this effect we are looking for people who are interested in blogging about:
- News in the Instructional Design, eLearning, m-Learning, Knowledge Management, Organizational Development, Higher Education, and Educational Technology fields just to name a few - if you have other topics please let us know! :-)
- Write notices for GIDA happenings - example: Announcement of upcoming events, where, when, how to RSVP, is there a cost? etc.
- Write conference debriefs - example: if you attended the UMass Boston EdTech conference, what did you think? which sessions did you go to? what did you like or dislike? If you went to an ASTD, ISPI, ISTE or any other national conference, why did you go? What did you learn? What sessions did you go to?
- Publicizing local events - the where, how, when, how much for local ASTD and ISPI events in the Boston area that YOU are interested in attending
- Notices of new course offerings from the ID department
- Notices of registration deadlines
- Articles of interviews of fellow instructional designers and industry movers and shakers
These are some ideas that we've tossed around, but if you have other instructional design, ed-tech, knowledge management (etc.) ideas please let us know! :-)
If you are interested in blogging for us, please email umbgida - AT - gmail - DOT - com and let us know what topic you are interested in blogging about and which email we should use to invite you to be a contributor.
